Default This one is going to be harder to launch off the beach than my kayaks

Picked up a new ride yesterday. Did hours and hours of research and decided a 26ft Twin Vee was the boat for me. These boats dont exactly pop up for sale often as they are either lemons from the factory or the ones that were made right people tend to hang on to. Saw this boat on the The Hull Truth last Friday for a good price and jumped on it!

Sea trialed her yesterday and as yall may or may not know, it was snotty to the say the least and the boat rode freaking AWESOME. Now I wouldnt want to intentionally go out and fish in yesterdays conditions but I know that if I did end up in some serious slop I could cruise at a solid 25-30kts and not take a beating!

Its not my first powerboat but its my first bigger boat!

Not at this time. The boat is insured for charters and I of course have my licenses but I will still be running for the guy Im working for as I made a commitment to him and will not leave him high and dry with out a captain.

However, down the road, who knows...Even then though I will still be doing the nearshore thing....mackerel, reef fish, cobia (it WILL have a ling tower before next March), etc. No bluewater trips as Im not good enough to take peoples hard earned money for that!
