Take the bream back and get an extra shad/herring. Those big black trebles love logs.

I'm not saying that wont happen, but I will be careful where I throw $8. The bream will be over submerged grass and points, and I might throw the shad around the bay.

Cool, the bream swimbait looks like a Tru-Tungsten swim bait that is like 40$. My dad has really good luck on Yum Money Minnow soft plastic swimbaits. Around here they would function best on Perdido most likely, with the clarity of the water. :angel

The pond I tried these out in, is not the most productive pond. (sometimes a plastic worm wont even catch fish) But I can tell you the bluegill looked very good in the water, had two nice size bass follow it up, and one strike which I missed. The minnow lure looked amazing in the water, just like a finger mullet swimming around. (no strikes though) I know they are gonna catch me something in a better fishing spot. More reports to follow.

Im not sure if it was that brand of Bream but we used them in a pond for the last year and it will tear that arse up! those bass lovem. Problem is...... when they strike it and the tail gets pulled off...... Its over! May as well toss it in the junk pile! My experience in pond fishing where the bass wont hit anything... they are very good baits!

These lures are all hard plastic, did your lure have a rubber tail? I hope they dont tear the hard plastic tail off.

They were the Soft baits. If its hard I dont think it will seperate. Possibly stainless links them.
