Default Need advice for tying seven strand type wire

I can't seem to find a good knot for light stranded wire...I've been using 10 pound test with jigs and swimming soft baits...I like to use 2 jigs with drop loops...can you even tie a drop loop with stranded wire?....thanks for your help!

When using wire I usually crimp it but I believe the figure 8 knot will work with 7 strand.

I just twist it.

If you are talking about the type with the plastic coating on it I throw that away and get the non coated. I could never get the coating type to work, even with crimps.

Figure 8, just leave a little tag, it will slip just a little.

Figure 8 works for me as well. You can also snell hooks with 7-strand, but you have to tie the snell a little different than done with mono. You can find instructions on how to do this on the Internet.

You can make a small crank out of a piece of stiff wire. Put a small hook in one end that will go through the eye of the hook.
Then use it to twist the seven strand. I'll see if I can find one of mine and post a pic.

I tried the figure 8, but it left a permanent twist in my line after sinching it down.....I think it may be the 10 pound test , its not easy to tie with any method...possibly I could have been doing it wrong too...

I tried this technique with larger 7 strand...works great...maybe the smaller wire is just no good?
