Just saw the report. It said the guy was not wearing a life vest and could not swim. Unbelievable!

Evidently there were 4 onboard and when they got to their spot in the bay, they 'noticed' he was no longer in the vessel.

Prayers to family and friends.

Hopefully another boat found him, or he doggy paddled to a pylon. Unfortunately I fear the sea might have claimed another if it's been 16+ hours.

I'm afraid they will find him on Sunday when the body rises to the surface.

Can't swim, on the water in the dark of night, with no life jacket... what could happen?

It's tragic, and needless.

I still don't understand how people don't know how to swim. And if you don't, why in the hell would you get on a boat without a life vest on.
Boggles my mind how people never learn to swim. Is it that difficult, or am I just lucky to be able to swim.
Animals know how to swim as soon as they hit water. You would think a human could do better .

It's a parent's duty to teach their child to swim ASAP. It is indeed a matter of life and death.

So sad!
