Default Mingo Question

I am interested in where I might go to catch some of the bigger Mingo's. Not your private spots but just advice on whether I need to be deep or fish higher in water column, or chum or be on a private spot. What size hook and what type rig? Double hooks on a dropper rig, mono verses flouro? What works for you.

Thanks,

Dave

Chicken rig. Close to the edge on natural bottom. Cut squid on both hooks, wait till your on the bottom 80-100ft.

Me personally I use a double hook dropper rig with small circle hooks 3/0 on 50lb mono and once you hit bottom crank up the reel 5-7 cranks and wait ....... they will come . Oh yeah fresh squid seems to works best.
