Default Mid '90's Yamahas? How are they to work on?

I found the 14' Twin Vee I want but it comes with a 1994 40hp Yamaha that has just been rebuilt. Any input on how easy/difficult this motor would be to work on? Any issues or problems come to mind?

Thanks

My question would by why has it been rebuilt? What was done during the rebuild (new pistons, etc.).

Otherwise, they're simple machines and very straight forward. Really can't imagine why it would've been dug into since all you've got to do is make sure its getting good oil/gas.
