Default Menhaden, where are they?

OK - I've found plenty of the little LY's all over the canals in the area, but not seeing the big menhaden in the places I normally would think this time of year. I know they are catching them locally from seeing what is available at GBBT and the guys telling me they were catching them locally, and of course they were happy to tell me they knew where they were but would not tell me where they were. I guess they think I'm going to cut into their menhaden business.

So anyone seeing the schools of the good size menhaden?

You tried north Escambia Bay? Seen several large schools there over the last couple of weeks. Cannot attest to their size as I have not threw on any yet.

Last week the pogie boats were in the Mississippi sound between petit bois and dauphin island. You can bet they know where they are.
