My two labs have decided to dig out and take a venture. We live in the wood ridge manor/little creek area. The male is black and the female is yellow. They will be together nothing can separate the two of them. They dug out last night and no one has seen them in the neighborhood since. If anyone lives in this area and happens to see them please call me. 3849452 I am not sure what prompted them to dig under the electric fence to go play!!!! Thanks guys!!!!
With all this rain, when you get em back, I'd check em real good fer snake bites...the mocs will be all over ifin you live near water.....Good luck w/ the search!
Yes Dlo - west side - off of Dog Track Rd (eastern boundary) and Lillian Hwy (northern boundary). Lot of open land to the west and south west of the area.
Hopefully they have tags or a chip implanted. I had one get out and lucky for me she was in a yard one road over. Good luck. If I see them I will contact you. I'm on the west side also.
Anything yet? My lab runs like a deer when he gets free. One day I came home to find he was gone. It got down to 15 degrees that night and he showed up, cold and hungry. He got out another time, but I knew he was only out for about 15 minutes. We did a quick search of the neighborhood and happened to find him, but he was on a dead sprint until I called out his name. Luckily he stopped on a dime.
Put up some flyers. I'm guessing that if they haven't come back, someone found them and might have them locked up. If I found and held any dogs, I'd be sure to put up tons of flyers and post in the paper, but you never know with some people. Post a small reward of some kind just in case someone found them and happened to think, "Hey, free dogs." If they know someone is willing to pay to get them back, you might guilt them into not being a##holes. Check the pounds too, of course.
Good luck though. My lab has gotten out 4 times and I was freaked out every time. My Rotty was easy. Somehow I left the front door open one day and I arrived home to find her laying in the foyer... she didn't even come out to greet me. Neighbors said she walked around the neighborhood for a bit, but watched her walk back to the house. My lab is a different story altogether.
I'm like Jplvr. When I opened the PFF the first thing that I though about was I wonder if the labs have been found. If you haven't found them, post some photos around the area and check the PNJ. I found a boxer once and posted in the paper and it helped me find the owner.
We lost our pomeranian and my wife googled lost pomeranians in pensacola and it sent her to wxbm's lost pet service and we got him back within 30 minutes of her seach on the internet. It is worth a try.
