Default Lionfish awareness downtown

Wasn't really impressed, brought cash thinking I could get a plate full to eat, and you could not buy it, only get one piece samples. A good tasting fish I thought, fried it tasted allot like catfish, as the Jackson Steak House chef was saying since primarily the only way to catch them is scuba and spearing, expect prices to be in the 26-28.00 a lb range, which puts it right up there with lobster and steak at a restaurant, I don't see that ever catching on big enough to make a dent in the population, they have got to find a way to get the cost down.

Next thing they will be over fished and be a season.
Trash fish seem to have a tendency to move to the top of the chart. Look at the trigger fish for example. Trash fish one year, over fished the next

yes, chap,
i remember as a kid in the 60's fishing out of pc on one of capt. anderson's boats. all the ars you could catch but throw all of the trigger back, they are not good to eat. at least that's what they said. years later, i found out differently.
