A deckhand aboard a fishing boat filmed for “Big Fish, Texas,” a reality TV series on National Geographic Channel about Katie’s Seafood Market, is suing after an infection forced doctors to amputate parts of several fingers.
Eddy McHenry sued the Galveston seafood company, TV channel and boat operator who hired him, according to the lawsuit.

Just shows you the type of people they are. Hire people at near minimum wage, Don't take responsibility, put on a show for the cameras. I remember watching that show, the captain was pissed he got hurt and pretty much ignored him, said it was not his responsibility. Hope he owns the company after that

"His lawyers obtained copies of the raw footage from production company Asylum Entertainment and they say it’s damning.

At the end of his two-day stint, an owner of Katie’s Seafood Market, Buddy Guindon, came to retrieve McHenry from the boat, which lawyers say was orchestrated for extra drama."
