Default Jet ski rental

Hey guys, I've been around here a while and have seen some guys let other members borrow their boat for a day or so but I didn't know if they were personal friends or not... Anyway I'm turning 16 this Saturday and was wondering of my mom and I could maybe rent or borrow a fellow members ski or skis. Two would be preferable, but one is perfectly fine too. Just want to get out and have a good time on the water. If it makes a difference both my mom and I have our FL vessel license and have grown up on the water fishing and boating. Thanks in advance

i dont think i could... but i would be more than willing to sign a paper, or sign + a recorded verbal agreement saying that if I caused any damage to it/them that i would pay to have it fixed

Happy birthday man. I honestly think you're going to have a hard time borrowing one and probably better off just renting one. I know they're expensive to rent, but there's a reason for that. Jet skiis have too much liability and too many people do dumb things with them to really let a stranger just borrow them. Good luck though I hope it works out.
