I was always told "by my insurance agent" that you should "recheck" policies every couple years. House, boat, and car. Insurance companies raise it all the time.
Pretty sure that seatow underwrites for progressive. Got a fly a few months back from them stating that seatow was available through them at a discount as well so it could be double savings for you..
Don't know if this applies to you, but, if you trust that you can move your boat to a safe location during a named storm, then, you can drop the hurricane coverage and go with a company like Axis at around half the normal price. I did that this past year. 27 foot world cat for around $700 a year. In the future, I may go back with storm coverage so as not to have to trailer the boat somewhere safe.
