Please tell me I am not the only one here that has this. I just can't seem to stop buying fishing rods/reels/tackle. Spend a lot of my free time at work on here of course browsing and can't turn down a good deal. Also spend a lot of time searching ebay cragslist and tht. My fishing room is slap full of gear guess that means i need to buy a bigger house. Believe I am going to have to delete my ebay app on my phone hahaha and don't get me started on the looking at boats for sale and dreaming about my next one. I believe we need to start a PFF support group for people like me haha please tell me I am not alone

Well I work out of town for 4weeks+ at a time (six weeks this trip) so yeah I find me a little spare time while stuck on a boat with no where to go haha

Addiction or an Obsession? lol..... I admit I do the same, but not as bad as you've got it. lol I like a deal too, probably got 20+ mitchell 300 reels, plus the 302's, 402's, 386's, 388's and a bunch other models. But I"ve always got a reel and a rod in case 1 breaks. lol not to mention the gazillion weedless worms. I had to buy a large tackle box just strictly for the worms, and need another box to help with the overflow...

For years, I preached to whoever would listen that a person cannot have too many rods and reels. Golfers carry 14 clubs in their bag, so why not have at least ten times that many rods, right?

As I begin my "golden years", I think I have finally reached the fishing tackle saturation point. Some of my young fishing buddies seem to be afflicted with the curse and want me to go shopping with them to "show me what to get so I don't waste my money". I tell them that I already have everything a fisherman could need, and plenty that you don't need, right here in my barn.

They usually go home with some free stuff, but it doesn't scratch their itch to be in full-blown shopping mode.

At the age of 25 I already find my self giving/selling stuff for really good deals to friends just because I don't need it or have a multiples of something. I always find myself without enough rod holders on the boat. Guess that is one of my reasons for always window shopping for another boat haha

There is no problems:

Fishing season=I buy fishing junk as a priority, hunting junk secondary.
Hunting season=I buy hunting junk as a priority, fishing junk secondary.

I have a 16/19 year old so I always have to buy 2 of whatever I buy!!! Or so the ole lady thinks that!
