Default I agree with the Chartermens Fishing Association

Charter Fisherman's Association website entrance paragraph
Each year millions of Americans rely on the Charter for Hire Industry to access our nation's fishery. Whether on a Head/Party Boat, Center Console or Luxury Sport Fishing yacht, our industry gives fishermen who do not own their own boats the opportunity to take advantage of our great fishery. Our customers come from all over the country and are a large part of the economic machine that drives our coastal communities.

Wow, they are so nice to be thinking not of themselves but for all Americans, not just the rich boat owners. So, what if other industries formed Associations to “help” their fellow Americans?

What if the Transportation Association used the same justification.
Each year millions of Americans rely on the Vehicles for Hire to access our nation's roads. Whether on a bus, taxi, or limosine, our industry gives Americans who do not own their own cars the opportunity to take advantage of our great roads. Our customers come from all over the country and are a large part of the economic machine that drives our coastal communities.

What if the Bass Fishing Association used the same justification?
Each year millions of Americans rely on the Bassfishing Guides for Hire to access our nation's bass fishery. Whether on a guided trip, a rented boat, or tour boat, our industry gives Americans who do not own their own bass boats the opportunity to take advantage of our great lakes and rivers. Our customers come from all over the country and are a large part of the economic machine that drives our coastal communities.

What if the Restaurant Asssociation the same justification?
Each year millions of Americans rely on restuarants to access our nation's food supply. Whether in a fast food shop, buffet, or fine restaurant, our industry gives Americans who do not own their stoves or refrigerators the opportunity to take advantage of our great food resources. Our customers come from all over the country and are a large part of the economic machine that drives our coastal communities.

What if the Political Parties and Lobbyist Association used the same justification?
Each year millions of Americans rely on contributions to their political representative and lobbyist to access our nation's rule making bodies to make the laws in favor of their own agenda and monetary gain.. Whether a congressman, senator, or state representative, our industry gives Americans who do not own a congressman, senator, or state representative their own Lobbyist to take advantage of our great politicians to given them access to make rules to financially improve their lot in life. Our customers come from all over the country and are a large part of the economic machine that drives our coastal communities.

And so on. Add your own Association . . . Makes sense to me. I need to sell my boat and drink the cool aid

Any Charter Captain that supports anything that NOAA, NMFS of the GCC can dream up need help.

They think by joining the corruption they will win.

What they fail to see is that they are being used.

Once they get the Counting system installed the commercial guys will take this information and drill them up the ass with it along with the rest of the recreational anglers.

Some of the charter guys are beginning to smell whats cooking. Others not so much. They are the ones drinking the cool-aid for sure.

A charter guy should be pouring every ounce of his energy into contacting the sportsman's alliance as well as every swinging dick that is a rec. angler to boast, encourage, and support H.R. 3094
State control out to 200 miles.

It is simple really.

Commercial guys don't want all the fish.
They just want yours!
