Default Help With Lost Rods Please...

I am posting this for a good friend who lost all his shark gear Saturday night and want to see if anybody has any info that would help get his stuff returned.

He was shark fishing near Portifino and loaded up and left around 12:30a Sunday. He had a rod holder type rack on his truck which he used to keep his rods. Somehow the rack came apart between the parking lot at Portifino and the Sunset in Gulf Breeze. He lost 3 Penn Senators reels and rods. A 12/0, 8/0 and a 6/0.

He immediately backtracked his path and found nothing so somebody out late saw them and picked them up before he got there. I would hope that whoever did pick them up would be kind enough to find the owner, but who knows these days. He is a single dad and takes his son fishing all the time with that gear and it is a shame to lose it. Any help would be appreciated.

You may want to edit your original post and remove the descriptions. If they are his, someone else may see this post and call the guy and accurately describe them. I would like to think all us fisherman are more honest than that, but I have been burned a couple times, even on this forum.
