Default Help with Humminbird

I have a 997c si that uses an external antenna that is giving me problems. My unit is saying the gps isn't connected. If someone has a similar unit with the external gps I could test my unit with, I'd appreciate it.

Mine did the same thing, go to hummingbird site and download latest update to sd card and upload the update to your unit. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick reply but I emailed a guy who works for humminbird and asked if there might be a problem with the software and if an update could resolve the issue and he said it was an antenna or unit problem, not software. I will give it a shot though

Yep, I had the same issue! Had to replace the antenna and have the wiring from antenna to unit redone.
