I am trying to sell my boat, but im having trouble finding a website that doesn't charge like a fee or registration fee. Anyone know of a good website that doesn't charge. Or is that not possible in these days lol

. Boat trader.com.......but they are gonna charge some sort of a listing fee in sure. I bought my boat from a boat consignment shop in orange beach. I don't know what they charge, but they only make money when the boat is sold. It's located right in from of the orange beach police department next to the gas station intersection on canal. . |

I have bought on boat here on PFF and another 4 or 5 off of craislist. I pretty much don't look anywhere else.
As for consignment places. They have to be motivated to sell your boat. If you have a cheap boat like my Cobia 174CC (sold for $8000 several years ago) they dont make much money, so arent very motivated. If they sell your 30+ foot Yellowfin, they make a great deal of money... Guess which one they try to sell. I had my Cobia for sale for about 7 months at a consignment place with 0 bites. I put it on Craigslist and had three people fighting for it within an hour. SOLD! A guy in MS bought it sight unseen! The key to craigslist is to have a fair price. Look at what other boats like yours are selling for all across the gulf coast. And put pictures. I dont look, and nobody I know looks at boat ads without pictures... Oh and actually answer the phone calls or emails. It ticks me off when I call or email about a boat and get no answer. Then I see it listed over and over again in the coming weeks!
