Default grouper season?

trying to figure out if we can go out and kill any thing underwater OTHER THAN TIME.

got this off the fwc site, is the season closed feb 1 - march 31 or have they closed it early with everything else in the gulf....other than ruby lips and pin fish. post up if you have any confirmed evidence of grouper closure...otherwise, my a$$ is going grouper hunting.

happy friday to all!!!:letsdrink
Gulf of Mexico (Except Monroe County)

New Regulations Effective August 27, 2009

No surprise there. They added 2 weeks to it last year, only makes sense that they add 2 weeks to it this coming year as well.

Oh but look....they reduced the minimum size for commercial guys. Thats the way the cookie crumbles
