Default Good Places to Throw Cast Nets?

Hey everyone,

This is my first post on the PensacolaFishingForum and I'm just looking for places in the Pensacola/Perdido area for throwing cast nets. Obviously, my main goal is to catch mullet, so if there's any suggestions on where I could go on foot, it would be greatly appreciated. My main focus is places reachable on foot rather than a boat. If you have places that are only accessible by boat, though, I will gladly accept those suggestions as well.

Thanks!

Anywhere in the bay and sound, really. You can wade, or I've seen people throw off the dock at sanders beach boat ramp, the pier just north of it at the community center, oriole beach, you name it. Just find a calm morning and look for them jumping/schooling.

I always seem to think the best place to throw one is right on top of a rock or oyster bed!!

Plenty of them in there, all sizes. We did it for bait...everything likes mullet in one form or another!

Little & big Sabine at Pensacola beach have done very well their wadding and you pass by many docks on the way both sides of three mile bridge and foot of bob sikes

It's one of those things you just have to be on the water to know....everyday is different on the water. Sometimes your luckily in the right spot and sometimes you have to search...if you're on foot just hit all the boat ramps, parks, piers and bridges...
