We'll, 3 hours peddling and not a single bite. It was a little windy. But man it was awesome to have been back out there! I was a little shaky in the legs when I went to get out of the boat. I was blessed by God, just as I was getting out of the water a brother named Denny was pulling up in his boat. He helped me get the yak on the trailer and by then I was feeling fine. But it was nice to be on the water. Did I say that already?

I'm in Pace, and a total of two miles from Jim's. It'd be nothing for me to meet you there and help you with your yak if you ever need a hand. We can exchange numbers and just shoot me a text or call when you are thinking about heading that way, and I can meet you there.

Also, you can put in for free at the dock just across the water from Jims. They even have a fancy kayak ramp.

I continue to be blown away by the offers to help me be able to be on the water! SpeedoJosh , thanks for the offer. I don't know too many folks that would stop what they were doing and go help someone they have never met!
I will definitely keep this in mind.
I can't imagine not knowing about this site. I tell everyone that fishes about it.
Thanks SpeedoJosh!

My yak is built like a pontoon. It will not slide on the ramp you speak of. I bought the trailer so I can load and unload right from trailer. I can back right up to the water. I could probably put a piece of plywood on the ramp and slide it down, getting it back up would be a different story.
Again thanks for the offer to help.
I hope I get to meet you soon!
In fact, I hope to meet a bunch of you guys!
