Most of the seafood in resturants comes from outside the US, although some is local. Sea-r-cy

I'd have to say Capt. Anderson's in Panama City is the place to go for a really fresh taste when is comes to seafood. I use to be the Executive Chef of Harry T's for a short while and we'd go through some seafood! Most of it were from the local markets, but they would tell me as soon as the boats made it back to the docks, they'd have the fish we ordered!

I think all of this might drive up the price of fresh seafood for a few years.

They regulated the commercial fishermen out of business. Hell, most days there are only a couple of us out there on pensacola bay.

Taking away our gill nets and making us go at it with a cast nets pretty muchended the supply of locally caught seafood. I guess they got what they voted for.
