Default global warming/mullet scoopin

with all this global warming we are having this week ought to be able to scoop some half frozen mullet by the weekend.

predictions are all over the place, depending who you listen to. they all agree on one thing its gonna be brrrrrrrrr cold.

so dust off those dip nets and get some grease. then head to the back of your favorite bayou or bay.

beware throwing a cast net your liable not to be able to pull it up with all those mullets in it.

we are now doing some scouting on some of our favorites spots to find the mullet. Should be a good week for them.

Sure could have used some of that global warming this morning. My sprinkler went off at 4:30am and everything was covered in ice.

My brother Bill and I have been talking about this. We have a hole that they lay in. Takes a while to get to the spot, but 1 throw and ya got your 50 count.

We want to smoke some with Cherry wood and make some Dip.

I was out on 12/30 in the Blackwater River and there was a lot of dead 10" mullet spread out around the area of the Bagdad boat ramp, I didn't get any because they didn't look fresh. I was surprised because the water temp was still 49 degrees, however, we have been having some extreme low tides (blow out tide) with the hard north wind. I'll be looking around for some later this week.
