Is their any condition you can use a gill net for mullet. Someone told me you could still use one if its no longer than 300 feet. I thought all gill nets were no longer allowed. But, I don't get to fish as often as I use too.

It sounds like your friend was thinking of AL net regs.

300' recreational gill nets are allowed here but NOT in FL
