Default GE on Scenic

I just wanted to make sure everyone here knows,

The property across the street from the GE Plant on Scenic, does belong to GE, and they don't want anyone over there, I Absolutely hate running off fellow anglers, but I'm not gonna get fired for not doing my job, so pretty please, fish somewhere else?

I live right at the back gate.. I wont lie, I've kind of contemplated fishing between the trestle and those apartments... Oh well!

Go closer to the apartments, if you can't be seen from the trail that ends at the water along the trestle, you'll be off GE property

Hell, I have worked there for 12 years and they have not ever "allowed" us to fish the beach. Lots of snags in that area anyway. Best way to fish it is by boat.

Its kind of funny that this thread pops up because I was on google earth looking for a secret spot along scenic or right across I-10 and came up on the railroad trestle and said, "I bet NOBODY ever thinks about coming over here!" But I saw the GE guys so I drove across the street to the guard shack and asked was it official property and they said yes we can't let you fish over there...it's a liability isssue.

Next spot is to find a way under the I-10 bridge, not on scenic hwy side but on the milton side. I know there has to be some sort of service road or something that leads down under the interstate right?

Dang it! A day late and a dollar short, well I appreciate the info fellas I don't have a boat (yet) so I have to find creative ways to reach "sweet" areas.

You can always pack light and park at Glover Landing and just walk down to the water. It's not to far of a walk. Fish off of the south side seawall for better results unless you have a boat. Then I would go under and just north of the train trestle. I used to go there a lot before it was blocked off.
