Anyone have any surefire way to get rid of fleas in yard and home. I've dumped so much poison in yard and house i'm gonna be the next superfund site. Nothing works.

I had a bad problem with them and our inside dogs until I put the dogs on confortis pills. I don't do a monthly treatment as I can't afford it but I use as needed and it usually takes a week after the treatment and all fleas are gone for 2 1/2- 3 months. Aside from that I treat the porch and dogbeds with a little ortho or whatever i have although my Telstar will be here today.

I had a rental house with that problem. I used allot of stuff.

Then I called Bug Out, they sprayed the house for $100.

The thing is you have to vacuum every day for two weeks to keep the new baby fleas "stirred" up, so they will die.

Just go to, Do it yourself on Pineforest.. They will sell you what you need, and tell ya you should of came there first... last time I bought flea stuff there,it was a 2 part..Poured some from one container in a mixing jug, then a full bottle of something else... Wait a day or 2 and vaccumm the house.. Then 2 weeks later spray one more time and be done.

Lime will move them out. But if you have dogs and fleas are a reoccurring problem, you can plant some China-berry trees in your yard. These are a natural repellent. Back in the day, we had them planted in our dog pens. They never got fleas or ticks even after a whole hunting season.

Most of the time whatever you do, you have to do again 14 days later to get the newly hatched ones.

First off, go to the health food store and buy "Brewers Yeast". Mix this is with the food that you are feeding your pets. Fleas HATE this when it's in your pet system, so that's solved. Secondly, you can kill them all you want, but the egg's they lay will hatch in a week (I think it was) after being laid. Keep treating the yard in intervals and eventually you will get them all, but it might take some time.
Somebody could have a better solution, but this is what has worked for me, for years.

Comfort is is all that has worked for me. Here's a tip. Buy it over the counter at the vet place by the Home Depot on 9 mile. I have a 15 lb dog. I buy the pill for the 60-100lb dog. The pills cost the same. I cut the pill into 4 prices and treat 4 months with one pill. It's less than $5 per month. Then I stop the treatments for the winter.
