Default Freeze Warning -Lower your O/B motor or out drive unit.

Looks like it may dip below freezing in some parts of our area...32 in Ft Walton and 25 in Crestview...So,

Just wanted to give a quick reminder to lower your lower unitsto prevent freeze damage.:doh

Lived here all my life and cant recall a colder, crappier, winter



If its not cold its rainy, if its not rainy its windy. Sometimes its all three. Really, really tired of this winter and ready for spring!

I thought this freeze threat was long gone until I saw thenews tonight and then realize my motor had beentrimmed up snce my last flush.

Edit: For temps now at 30 degrees...tilt them motors down fellas!

I have heard that it is ALWAYS recommended to leave your motor trimmed down when stored to protect the seals, it keeps the foot properly lubricated!
