Default Free shop built tools, Mercruiser

Talking about an upgrade, I got rid of my Mercruiser 470 I/O powered bowrider and bought a center console powered by a Yamaha four stroke.

Because I'm pretty darn sure I'll never own another inboard/outboard, I'm getting rid of all my shop built tools and jigs, too. Rather than scrap them, thought I'd see if anyone wants them.

There are a few that are special service tools (SST) for rebuilding the engine, but several of them will come in handy for maintaining the Alpha One outdrive, e.g., pulling the gimbal bearing, installing the gimbal bearing, and installing an exhaust tube. Also, there's a long nut driver for tightening the clamps on the exhaust tube and u-joint bellows, and an extra deep socket for installing the lower shift cable.

I'll give it a few days, them I'm giving them to a guy who collects scrap metal.

Gimbal bearing puller:

Gimbal bearing driver:

Exhaust bellows expander/installer:

SST hydraulic lifter compressor:

Top to bottom, oil pump priming tool, hydraulic lifter compressor, extra long nut driver, valve spring compressor, crimping tool, extra deep socket, gimbal pin removal tools
