Post fishing in two states.

how would or should this work? i have a Alabama lifetime sportsman license(fresh, salt, hunting) and buy a Florida non resident salt.we fish both.the thing is my boats out of the water home is at Sherman cove(nas) in fl.what would happen if we fish in AL and catch some fish and are on the way back to the dock..i know most of the regulation are the same or close but not all.

Yep, if you were to catch a bull red and bring him home to Florida and you get stopped in FL waters you'd get busted. If you plan on keeping stuff in bama that isn't legal in FL, I'd recommend you trailer the boat to Alabama waters.

Yep. You must comply with the regs where you are when you are checked. Period.

I have both for that reason. My understanding is, (now my boat stays on old river) that were ever you come in at, for example Pensacola pass or Perdido pass which ever one you come in that states laws apply. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
