Default Fat Jax Bait/Chum run

I am starting to watch the weather for a Bait/Chum run. Some may have gone with me before. This is how it goes. 4-5 Guys (or gals) that can put Bonita in the boat quickly. I run Gun and Run from Bo Bo school to school. The fisher guys/gals cast and fill the boat with as many Bonita or other unregulated fish as possible.

There is no charge for this trip, your rods and tackle. However, all fish caught remain with the boat for my future needs. repeat, no charge 100% free. Its fun as hell, most I ever brought back on a single run was about 45 Bonita. I am always looking to top that!!!!

PM me the following:

Name and number
days you are available to go, (weekday or weekend)

This is all weather dependent, calmer waters are better, because we can see the action and run faster.... I expect to leave (from SCM) about 0900 and return by 3 or 4 in the afternoon..... (or all the boxes are full )

A little more info is needed.

I don't normally target Bonita.

How does it work? You run and gun, we throw artificials?

I'm interested, what should I bring?

Jim

spin cast rods with a smaller jig type lure you can get some distance with. The Bonita may sound, but you have to be able to get to the fish.... they may not let us get righ on top of them....

Dang Jim, that sounds like my kind of action. Just too D#$% far for me to make a trip. I know you will be busy as all get-out but try to post up some pics for us land locked fisher wannabes.

I'll go if I can shake free. Weekends are usually better, but I can sneak out some weekdays.

large sabikis (rigged with 30lb mono) and a 3/4 - 1oz weight on the bottom. toss it and burn it through the school. 1-2 at a time and they eat the hell out of it!3 or more on it and you'll probably lose it. haha.

1 or 2oz bullet head white nylon jigs work great, small gotchas work too, but the trebles are a pita when the action is hot.
