5200 also. I believe Lifecaulk makes a below water sealant also, that might allow you to be able to remove what you're sealing in later. Certainly 4200 will do the job though as above poster indicates. Just consider it "permanent".....
Google ( stern saver) I've used these on a couple installs. You epoxy it on so no holes drilled into your transom. I've had no feed back on how well long term it holds which means they have not come loose or I'm sure I would have heard by now. Me personally I like thru hull which picks up less turbulence at higher speeds.
