Default dredging Destin East Pass

Has anyone heard when they are going to begin dredging the pass? I know its been a legal battle on where the sand is placed etc. Last thing I saw was it was supposed to be finished by July 1st this year

Last I heard they finally settled on a split of where the sand would get dumped, but dredge got rerouted to upper Alabama. Spring flooding created sandbars that were blocking an entire shipping channel so they got an emergency request approved.
