Default Destin pass open?

I'm hoping to get out fishing this weekend. Last I heard Destin pass was being closed with booms on incoming tides but that was a few weeks ago. Does anyone know if it's being closed at all now? Is there a good source of info on Destin pass status out there? Thanks.

Default closure

I don't think it has ever been closed, I have a friend running a head boat, they have never had to turn back so far. Sea-r-cy

I drive over the Destin bridge a couple of times a day. The pass has not been closed yet and we've been lucky to not have any oil come into the bay yet. Federal waters are closed but state waters are still open. If you want to pick up a couple of snapper, you have to run a little bit east right now as the close in spots are getting pretty beat up.
