Default Destin Inshore/Flats Fishing Guide Recommendation

Taking a family trip to Destin in August. Looking for a good/reputable fishing guide that can take my brother-in-law and I fishing for the day. As we are from Texas, we are accustomed to fishing for Reds, Specks, Flounder, etc. and this is what we would like to target on the trip.
I know that a good deal of the fishing in and around Destin is offshore/near shore fishing for kings, red snappers, etc.; however we are looking to stay more inshore and flats fishing.
Since I have never taken a guide out of Florida, I would love to hear your recommendations. After a bit of searching these are a few of the names I've come up with. Anyone else I should be looking at? Thank you for your thoughts and comments.

Red Fish University / Capt. Eric Holstman

Last Cast Charters / Capt. Blake

Grassy Flats Charters / Capt. Daniel Snapp

Capt. Wes Rozier

South Again Charters / Capt. Brad King

Capt Chris Shepard is one if the best. Shikari Charters. He has been murdering the reds and big trout lately. (850) 685-9349

Most of the ones you posted are not in the area.

Capt Brad and Wes are standup guys as well but they run out of Pcola.

I would recommend South Again, just because I have seen some great reports from them on here and they consistenly put their customers on fish.

Capt. Eric, Wes and Brad are guys who are at the top of their game. Why don't you have conversations with these three and see whose style fits the way you want to fish.

When you mention "Destin" and "inshore" in the same sentence, Capt. Blake Nelson is almost unbeatable in my opinion.

I agree with Panhandleslim. I have fished with multiple guides in this area, including some of the ones mentioned, and would not charter with them again. some were good, some spent the day talking and talking and talking.....

For me, its more about your style, how many people will be casting, and how you want to fish and what is important to you. Some will sit on a spot for hours with nothing biting, others will wear you out running from spot to spot. If coming home with fish for dinner is important, tell them and suggest putting fees at risk. if seeing the area is as important as fish in the box, that's a different story.

Nothing makes them work harder than having to produce. Talk with them, and IMHO, get several recent client references and call them up.
