Default Crabbing Orange Beach

I will be in Orange Beach over Memorial Day weekend. I have a wire crab trap I have used on piers in the bay in the past. We will be staying on the beach this time with no access to a pier or a boat. Is there anywhere I can let my trap soak to catch some blue crabs? I seem to remember mention of Little Lagoon pass, but can't remember any details.

Thanks in advance!

Lots of work going on around the pass right now. They're tearing out the old bridge and gonna widen the pass and build a better bridge. Might be better off hiding it somewhere around the public ramp on the north side of the lagoon.

If you're willing to take that 20 mile trip down Fort Morgan Road, you should be able to pull some nice blue crab from around the pier there, get you some chicken necks for bait

There is a park north side of Canal Road, east of Hwy 161. It has a short pier and gazebo.
