Default Costa Del Mar Rx prices

In 2012 I bought some Costas with progressive bifocal lenses for $379. I lost them over the weekend and priced an identical replacement pair at two different places including the same store. $559 is the new rate. Costa Del Mar now says the Rx lenses must be purchased at their lab and set the new price this year. I ordered WileyXs instead for $220.

we have used our local eyeglass shop here in FWB on several pairs. Half the price of Costas, great products, same quality lenses, whatever color mirror finish you want. Two week turnaround too.

Anyone paying Costa prices for their RX lenses has too much $$ to burn, IMHO

I went through the same thing last year when I was going to get me a new pair.
Contacted costa, they were no help. I was down with paying whatever for new frames and lenses, but they really did not offer much help. I figured after 2 emails, my patience ran out.
My frames are in perfect shape, just need new rx after 3.5 years, lol. But wanted new frames too.
Can't afford to do it every year. Been checking out the smith optics, but probably a pain to get rx too. I emailed them, they were not much help either. Good luck.

Funny, went looking last night online. Had looked at wileyx some time back.
Went and got some wileyx rx mirror/polarized/back coating.
$177
About time my insurance helped for something.
Even maui jim is doing just about the same thing as costa.

Default Maui Jim and Costa

Yes! Both those companies are in bed together to keep prices way to high!
