Default Condo owners - any BP settlements

Just wondering if anyone with a condo in the area got any settlement from BP? I have some info - basically those who went thru the paperwork got an offer while those who didn't are still fighting.

Anyone else have any insights?

BP has the PR advantage now and will deny, deny, deny even if you have every document known to man. We ended up settling because we couldn't get anywhere.

The people we rented from this spring said they did reel well with a settlement(compensation)....but they had to have all the documentation(paper work) with past year rentals

Nope. If you have one, they are going to try and bully you or wait you out.

I knew what would happen when they threw a billion dollars at Ken Feinberg, who doesn't have a good history of being a decent human being.

I have talked to a few house and condo owners that has gotten emergency claims paid and interim payments for their loss. I think you are correct that they want to see a full history for prior years before they are going to pay out.
