Since you dive primarily, I would stick with the Parker. You will make a lot of space sacrifices in the GB 26 and be out a good more coin.
I have never dove out of a cat but if I was hunting one to dive out of, it would be a Prowler 25.

I bought a Glacier Bay 2680 Coastal Runner late last year to use primarily for diving. You're welcome to come diving with us sometime and make the evaluation for yourself.

Im a cat guy, love my TwinVee 26. I dont dive but there is a TON of room on the boat and I imagine it would be a great dive platform. In a 2-3' chop the cat will run circles around the parker.

Saying all of that, there is a learning curve when it comes to learning to handle a cat in certain sea states. Glacier Bays are the worst when it comes to bow steer as they are displacement hulls only. I would look for planing hulls like Twin Vee, Ameracat, Prowler, Seacat, etc as they are a bit more forgiving. BUT, if I was in your shoes, a paid off boat is a paid off boat so....
