Cape San Blas Fishing at Christmas? Any advice?
I'll be staying in Cape San Blas for a week at Christmas. I've never done any salt water fishing. Any advice for equipment and method? Do I just find a pier and jig or still fish? Are there party boats that go out at that time of year? I won't have access to a boat so it will have to be wading or Pier/Dock fishing.

I fish the area quite often, but never in Dec. So I'm not sure what will be around.
There is no pier at San Blas, but there is one at Mexico Beach. There are some party boats in St Joe, but I don't know if they will be running in Winter.

If you have boat access you can fish in the ICW for speckled trout, redfish and flounder.....I have done well there in November and December....
