Default Cape Horn 17 owners only

Ok guys, do you think it is possible to freshwater bass fish in a Horn 17 ? Add trolling motor on front. Does the wind blow it aroundvery much ?

I am looking for a boat to freshwater fish &bay fish with.

I use mine in the river,bay and offshore too.

I think you wouldn't have any troubles doing what your wanting to do with a 17ft Cape Horn.

My Polar/Dynasty V1700 is basicly a cape horn design and I use it everywhere...gulf, bay, river. I will tell you this, it is a good lightweight hull so when the wind blows it will come around stern to wind. So knowing that I will always set up that way before I start fishing. I do suppose that a trolling motor could offset that in a mild wind. I love mine because it is so wide and very stable.
