Default BP Oil Spill: Employees Reportedly To Face Manslaughter Charges

Interesting updates. These findings still will not bring back those that paid the ultimate price but it is good to see somebody being held responsible.

This just came out a couple of hours after I posted this link:
"BP said it has reached an agreement with the U.S. government to settle all federal criminal charges and claims against the company stemming from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill and response. The oil giant said it will pay an aggregate amount of roughly $4.5 billion over six years as part of the settlement and plead guilty to 11 felony counts. The settlement is subject to court approval."

Bullshit decision. Criminalizing it means ALL that $$$ goes to Washington, not to those whose lives are forever altered.

Lets BP off the hook for the residual impact to the marshes, to the fishing industry due to disease, and to the affiliated economic interests of recreational related tourism industries.

But hey, what does one expect from the most unlawful Administration in US History?
