I didn't think you could keep Warsaw grouper.

3 of us in Panama shot one over 400 pounds inside a coral cave in 20 feet of water. We were set up for it, and had orange anchor balls on a line to each of our spear guns. Damn thing drug 3/4 of a mile offshore...in the #2 shark breeding area in the world before he gave up the ghost. One of out Mike boats on the way to Chagres River saw the 3 bouys and 3 heads and said " that's gotta be Skip, Chuck and Tony...no one else is stupid enough to be out here". They lowered the ramp, we climbed onboard and it took 7 of us to get that fish on the boat...all while an infantry platoon was watching.
Cooked grouper for days, cut into 13chunks and fried. It was damn good.

That must’ve been an incredible an unforgettable experience, and is without a doubt one of the most serious fishing experiences I’ve seen posted. It’s been awhile but I think you might’ve replied to a previous post I made about my trip over there to Panama.
