Default big business and fishery closures

first it was red snapper

then it was grouper

now it is amberjack

where are all the big businesses ie contender, grady white, evinrude, mercury, penn, shimano, raymarine, hummingbird, the list goes on and on.

where are all of these big businesses with their big lawyers and all of our money fighting for our rights to fish and their livelihood?

do they understand if we dont fish we dont buy their stuff? seems like they have the money and power to do something.

whats up?

I am waiting with bated breath for the red snapper season to be announced for 2010. I figure that when they completely close it, there will be a total meltdown. Might be a good thing in the end, if it makes everyone angry enough to start voting out the BOZOS that allowed this to happen (congress).:hotsun

Mackerel closure is about to be irrelevent, as they will be moving south after the next few cold fronts...
