Abu Garcia Black max/ vengeance rod. On sale at Dicks for 49.99 then you get a 20 mail in rebate. Can't beat it.

concur ... I used to have a Pinnacle that I used for pomps. I liked it better than my Shimano Scorpion or Curado.

I've got two Bass Pro Qualifiers and love them. One in 6:4/1 and the other in 7:1/1 ratios. Mainly throwing spinner bait and crank baits. Both are silky smooth. Almost 900 reviews and averaging 4.7 out of 5..... I'd say its good.

Bought a cheaper BP Tourney Special for half the price a year ago and its nothing near the quality of the Qualifiers.

Interesting how guys are so sure of their choices, very cool. Me too. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lews-Speed-S...item540972503b
These things cast a mile, and they have an honest 10 lbs. of drag. Very impressive reel, for 80 bucks.
