Default Bayou's.... fresh or salt?

I figure the bayou's are actually brackish, but do you need a fresh water license to fish them or a salt water license?

Breeze,

Like the post above me; I initially thought at first the license dictated the water fished in until I realized it was not the water; but the category of fish harvested.

So, saltwater license are to harvest saltwater species, and vice-versa for freshwater species.

Most of the bayous around here have mainly saltwater fish with the occasional freshwater fish so it would probably be better to go with the salt water license.
