Default Bass fishing guide for Lake Okeechobee

I have a buddy that lives in Chicago. He is a Cook County Sheriff's deputy. His job is traveling from state to state, extraditing criminals back to cook county. He will have occasion to be on Okeechobee next week for a day or so and bass fishing there is on his bucket list. He is curious to know of anyone could recommend a guide for a short trip.

Roland Martin's marina on the west side of the lake is the place to be for guides. They have several on staff. Tom Mann even guides out of there in the winter time.

I figured out you were talking about Tom Mann Jr. I googled and found his website. Is it me or is his boat sitting really low in the water?

Well for wise cracks, it is a Ranger, big and heavy! lol

It's been neat every time I have stayed there. You can literally chat with Scott and Roland Martin at their shop, and ask for pointers. Not to mention several other well known pros and south Florida Sticks are known to hang around that place.

If TOHO is an option look at Chuck Pippin on Facebook. I will be fishing with him next month on the 8th.
