Default bait in Cotton Bayou area

Has anyone seen any schooling bait (menhaden, LYs, etc.) in or near Cotton bayou?

I was there last Sunday and all I saw were boats, more boats, people, and alcohol in the water. Good luck!

Get there before sun up and check out the multiple dock lights. That may be your best bet.

No LYs or pogies in the bayou so far. had to net a few small mullet, pins, and then catch bait offshore last week.
