Default Aspen Dental

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Aspen Dental. I see Cordova Family Dentistry is pretty highly recommended on here and I was thinking of going with them, but Aspen's prices seem to be considerably better.

Thanks

I have never used Aspen Dental, but I did use Dr. James E. Covan on West 98 for a couple of years & was very impressed with him & his practice. I live in Crestview & used him because he accepted Dental Insurance I had for a couple of years. Even though I was a new patient, when I broke a jaw tooth, they were quick to work me in. Instead of going for the most expensive route of a Crown, he stated he could fix the tooth without it & did a good job of doing so.

Since I no longer have the Dental insurance, I have returned to a local dentist, who is also very good.

Sorry, but I don't know what Dr. Covan's prices are without the insurance.

I had my top teeth pulled last August/September to get dentures. It was at that same time I was diagnosed with cancer. So I was already losing weight and couldn't eat. I have a bad gag complex that doesn't help. However they have tried three different sets of teeth for me, still no top teeth. Since I have been going there, they have gone through four dentists. It is like going to a McDonalds and hoping you get the right food. While sitting in the waiting room over the last several months I have heard many folks complain. I saw one lady that had the same issue as me, have a down right fit screaming she wanted her money back.
I would not recommend that anyone go there based on my experience and those I witnessed.

I am going to try one more time and then it is get my $2000 back time!

Thanks for the input. Saving money is definitely not worth it for that kind of work.

Thanks

“I think quotas and how many patients need to be seen a day definitely have an adverse effect on the quality of care,” Reitz said. “What’s frustrating for us is to go dentist by dentist by dentist. By the time we get there, they’re not there anymore” because corporate chains have high turnover rates.
