Default Anyone else going to the Hank Jr. Show tonight

I have seen him once before. Awesome
However I am really looking forward to seeing Greg Allman again.
I have seen him 4 times always a great show.
If you are going don't be late.
One of the greatest blues man of or time will be the warm up act.
Here is a little taste

And yes I am a huge fan of his music.

I believe that concerts are for young people. I'll never go to another one.
I went to see Hank Jr and Lynnard Skynnard a few years ago and about got in a fight with a kid 30 years younger than me. They had an hour break in between shows for no reason other than to sell over-priced beer to already drunk patrons. Top that off with ridiculous ticket prices and I've been to my last one.

Well I have to say.
My all time favorite musician is Greg Allman. And he look healthier then he has looked in years. The band he played with last night was awesome.
That beening said Hank ruled. End of story.
From the first song. If the south would have won. Thru his sole set. His show was off the chart.
He seemed in good sprites. Did all the normal stuff ie played the piano the fiddle the guitars.
Then played some
Skynyrd
ZZ Top
Aerosmith
Ted Nugent
Just to name a few.
His comand of lead guitar solos is breath taking.
He smiled a lot.
I will go see him any anytime any where.
As for Mr Allman still my favorite of all time

Yea, I am just not fond of paying 140.00 for great seats only to have a bunch of drunks slinging F-Bombs every other word dancing in front of you so you can't see the show. Like another poster said, might be my last concert.

+1. They were both great, but Hank was just pure badass. Great concert!

That's what this society has gone too. Same thing happened last time I ate at Tacky Jacks. Had a guy break out about 20 F bombs with his own kids sitting with him. Unless Hanks concerts are better than they were 20 years ago you couldn't pay me to go.

It was a revival!! I have seen bocephus several times "more than 5" it was rowdy, it was a party, and it was hank Jr!! Probably the best I've seen hank ever! Gregg Allman was awesome, and he looked great... I will follow hank til one of us dies... "After Friday night I'm not sure who that's gonna be and hanks got 20years on me"

Ps. I use the F-Bomb.....
