Default Any 3208TA experts for help with engne ID?

Looking at 36 foot boat with twin 3208s. "0" time engines installed in 1991. Said to be first 3208s with aftercooling. Neither broker or owner know HP or Prop size and no HP tag on engine, according to the broker. Best guess by "mech" is 330/350 HP. Boat listing claims 350HP. As near as I can tell 330s and 350s don't exist in the 3208TA, but there is a 340. Without a tag can a "mech" get a horsepower from looking at the engine? Any other ideas for me to use in attempting to get engine HP? Thanks

he said they were 1991 models, im pretty sure the 435 and 450 versions came out a little later. i had a pair of 450's in a 2001 35 cabo. they are good engines.

Are we ruleing out the 340 because of the rating--D, intermittent Duty? If they turn out to be the 375s are 1 and 3/4 shafts with a 22 inch dia. prop big enough shafts? The boat is Old Chris Craft 36, 20,800lbs, but with engines and fuel etc. probably closer to 27000lbs. Ad says it cruises at 16knots. When I asked the broker at what RPM he said 2200. Max speed in the ad was listed at 21knots.Isn't thatlow for a pair of 375s. I know props and dirty bottom all play into the WOT speed, but still I would have expected more from the boat with 375s. What is your experience with similar HP and boat? Thanks for the help.

A little more information. This is what the broker said--

This model cat was the 1st year with. A after cooler.
Caterpillar used the same cooler detroit was using,
No specifications
In regard to hp is available.
Therefore we were using the mech's best guess of 330/350

Does this track with 1991 installs, with Zero time on the engines?

I'll bet if you call Thompson Cat in Mobile they can probably help you figure it out.
