Default Advice On Outriggers Please

My fishing partner is in the market for some outriggers for his 290 Coastal. We are not sure where to start to look or what brands are reputable. Some advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Kenton,
I've had great luck with Taco stuff. Pretty big price difference between the lower end stuff and higher end stuff. I just got the Taco 270 series and it has been great.
Bit of advice here. When you get the bases on, rig the poles with 400lb mono as opposed to the nylon that some manufacturers send. It is a lot cleaner and easier operate.

Cant go wrong with Tacos. I like Rupp as well.

On that size boat, I would get 18's, with 1 1/2 bases.

I have some Taco 15ft black/gold outriggers that were only used once for sale if you're interested.
